Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Marisnick Labs, LLC when you use treatmentcentertools.com.
Last updated October 30, 2026. Questions: support@treatmentcentertools.com, or the Request form on your Account page.
1. Who we are and what this is
treatmentcentertools.com ("the Site") is operated by Marisnick Labs, LLC, a California limited liability company ("we", "us"). The Site sells access to digital content and software tools for addiction-treatment and behavioral-health programs: clinical form templates with Kipu build sheets, policy and procedure templates, group-session material and client handouts, staff training, an AI template builder, an AI group-note writer, and referral tools. The AI admissions line is a separate product with its own agreement at admissions.treatmentcentertools.com.
By creating an account or buying a plan you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Site for a program or employer, you confirm you are allowed to bind it to these Terms.
2. Accounts
- You need an account to use the tools. Keep your password private; you are responsible for what happens under your login.
- One account is for one person. A plan covers one program or organization; the account owner may add users from that organization.
- We may suspend an account that shares logins outside the organization, resells our content, or abuses the AI tools.
3. Plans, billing and renewal
- Creating an account is free. Paid plans (currently Clinician and Program) are monthly subscriptions billed in advance by card through Stripe.
- Plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your Account page; access continues to the end of the paid month.
- Prices are shown on the Site and may change. We give at least 30 days’ notice of a price change by email before it applies to an existing subscription.
- Add-on services (chart audits, done-for-you builds, cleanups, policy help, automation) are quoted and agreed separately, in writing, before any work or charge.
4. What you may do with the content
- While your plan is active you may download, adapt and use the templates, policies, group material, handouts and build sheets inside your own organization, including building them in your own EMR.
- You may keep and keep using copies you downloaded while your plan was active.
- You may not resell, redistribute, publish, or offer the content to other organizations, or use it to build a competing library. Attribution is not required on documents you adapt for internal use.
5. Clinical and compliance responsibility
Everything on the Site is a starting template written by people who run licensed programs. It is not legal, medical or compliance advice, and it is not tailored to your state, your payers or your accreditation. You and your clinical, medical and compliance leads are responsible for reviewing, adapting and approving anything before it is used with clients, submitted to a payer or shown to a surveyor.
6. AI tools
- The AI template builder and group-note writer produce drafts from what you type. Drafts can be wrong or incomplete. Review every field and every sentence before use; never sign a note you did not read and individualize.
- Do not type protected health information (PHI) into the AI tools. Describe the group or the form; do not paste client names, identifiers or chart text. The Site is not built to store client records and we do not sign business associate agreements for it. (The admissions line and add-on services that touch your EMR are covered by separate agreements that do include a BAA.)
7. Our content and your content
The templates, text, design and software on the Site belong to Marisnick Labs, LLC or its licensors. Anything you type into the tools stays yours; you give us permission to process it to provide the service. We do not use your inputs to train AI models.
8. Not affiliated
Treatment Center Tools is independent software. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Kipu Health, The Joint Commission, CARF, DHCS, Zocdoc, Psychology Today or any payer. Those names belong to their owners and appear only to describe what the tools work with.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Site available at all times but do not guarantee it. We may change, add or retire features and content. If we retire a plan you are paying for, we will refund the unused part of the current month.
10. Disclaimer and limits on liability
The Site and its content are provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, Marisnick Labs, LLC disclaims all warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Site or its content is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue, denied claims or survey findings.
11. Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time by cancelling your plan and emailing us. We can end or suspend access for a breach of these Terms; if we end it for any other reason, we refund the unused part of the current month.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and both sides agree to that venue.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes are announced on the Site or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Site after that date means you accept them.
